Well this is embarrassing - I thought I bought the domain via 
crazydomains.com.au last night. As crazydomains.com.au was showing the url 
as available last night I pounched on it,  paid and got a receipt number 
etc. 

but this morning I check and I am still in "pending approval" status 
(usually this only takes 15 mins to resolve) however I note the url is 
already in use by someone else.

Damn
