If you're on Android, I find newsrob (pro) to be an awesome feed
reader, and not just because I tend to call lots of things awesome. It
syncs with your Google reader subscriptions and supports categories,
starring, sharing, bulk mark as read, embedded browser.

Newsrob was around before the official Google Reader app for android,
and I still use it after comparing them.
