Not materially the same, since the escrows I've been involved in have
*required* a third party.
Encryption would allow the third party to be only involved in storing
one item, not all versions,
so would cut costs.
But yeah, using a reputable accountant or law firm is definitely the
way to go rather than a
specialised service.
