At the time they were
also not designed for the concept of continuously updated software.
(eg. you were supposed to deliver every "release" to them on cd).
Could you mot just escrow an encryption key, then deliver encrypted
software directly to the other party on each release? Sounds like a
plan that would work even with a traditional escrow handler.
