Yeah there are a few of us Canberrans around. However I've not found the entrepreneurial scene very strong here.
It can be quite difficult to pull together a couple of developers to create something without paying then $100 an hour to do the work. Simply too much public service work around and people are comfortable. So I'm storing up ideas until I leave Canberra for the real world and keeping a hand-in through BarCamps, developing Gov 2.0 services personally and within government and overseeing the oil company (Northern Territory Oil) I founded five odd years ago. Can't get down to the start-up camp due to having kids - but will give it a shout-out on my blog.
