Hi SBAers, We're hoping to show off our online website publishing system for photographers next Friday night when we're down in Melbourne for the Digital Life Expo. The thing is, we don't know Melbourne well enough to make arrangements. Our requirements are pretty simple, so I'd be keen if anyone could make a recommendation for a venue.
- Thursday 3rd or Friday 4th (TBC) - Needs to sit/stand approx 20 people - Has a projector or HD screen to present laptop from - Wi-Fi would be nice (can tether via Optus if need be) - Casual venue that has a good ambience and isn't too loud (no live music or pokies please) - Sell alcoholic beverages - Is pretty central and easy to get to - Free (we're a bootstrapping start-up after all) If anyone could recommend a venue or has a contact that we could use, it'd be greatly appreciated.
