Hi Daryl,

We just had a corporate structure worked out for one of our portfolio
companies, headed up by an entrepreneur on a 457-long-term business
visa.
Our international tax advisor worked out that Hong Kong was the best
location for his holding. It’s cheap and easy to set-up (took 3 days),
easy to maintain and fully legal and transparent, so no issues with
the Australian Tax Office.
In his case his holding company pays a maximum business tax of 3%
because all their assets and investments are in Australia, NZ, and
Singapore, which is being perceived as overseas investment by the HK
tax authorities and taxed very friendly.
>From a banking perspective HSBC is the best one to use.

Our tax advisor is located in Sydney CBD and I am happy to broker an
introduction after having spoken to you. He only takes on new clients
via introductions. He knows his business and is one of the best and
also very affordable.

Hope this is what you are looking for. Let me know if I can help you
further.

Warm regards & success,

Patrick
