Hi all

Sorry when i am buging you for a trivial question like mine, but I think
if we succeed serviceMix will also profit.

Great stuff

I am looking for excellent references of ServiceMix installations.

We proposed to one of our customer, to use ServiceMix as SOA-Layer but
he would also be shure that his investment is not going to support a
technology which will soon disappear. I know that this is not going to
happen because of large community which ServiceMix already has.

Its also worth telling your customer that the Apache software foundation has a tradition of building good, strong, long lasting communities around its open source software.

But it
would help a lot to make our customer feel more comfortable if we could
show him that there is other company using ServiceMix (even on mission
critical installations).

Agreed. Off-list I might be able to pass some names your way; though quite a few companies like to keep their use of technologies private, or have a hard time getting approval to go public.

If you could provide some reference in the following business-fields:
- banking
- insurance
- newspaper
- commerce

it would help a lot.

Better still, add the references to the wiki...

http://docs.codehaus.org/display/SM/Users

then folks can add links to their companies.

BTW:
On my opinion it would be great if it would be manageable to post some
information on the ServiceMix web-site.

thanks and regards
Massimo
