ok.  Yes, PATH_MAX is used through most of this.  There's an equivalent 
MAXPATHLEN which is also 4096 on linux.  Maybe UNIX_PATH_MAX is right because 
it's this:
posix/attachListener_posix.cpp:#define UNIX_PATH_MAX   
sizeof(sockaddr_un::sun_path)
