I understand why you ended up with that choice of words, since it is not 
trivial to find a better phrase. `target` was just the first word that popped 
up in my mind.

I thought about this for a while now, and I ended up asking ChatGPT. It 
suggested the (in retrospect obvious) combination `execution target`. I think 
that's okay. It has the somewhat more formal nuance than `what to execute`, but 
still gets the preciseness of `what to execute`.
