Missing software (may a bit OT, sorry)

Hi !

Lots of people are complaing about the lack of software, and that makes
Linux a bad choice for the desktop.

Any ideas on what kind of software that is missing on Linux, just in case
someone has a few spare month over it would be good to know about good
projects....
