I don't have any experience with ZFS when the disks are in external cabinets. I
have a few questions:
1. If I have a lot of spindles in an external cabinet, I'll have several disks
sharing channels (between 3 and 6 depending on chassis). I know this is
generally unfavorable, but if the

On some machines running PowerPath, there's sometimes issues after an
update/upgrade of the PowerPath software. Sometimes the pseudo devices get

I agree. Our product the DDRdrive X1, an NVRAM based SSD, is
definitely not targeted towards the home end-user. By nature of our
component choices, fabrication tech, and ultimately price point we are a
