Hello!
I would like to ask for your help with expanding the actual sanity check system
with new tests for QA automation purposes.
If anyone has worked on these tests it would be of great help if they can give
me some info on how they are set up

Hi all,
There is loads of research on embedded computing going on in academic
circles, and I was just wondering if the YP could be of interest to them.
A lot of this research involves creating working prototypes, so they
probably have to deal with many of the same problems as people building

Hi All,
Are the slides available somewhere?

Hello everybody
I am using Yocto as a framework to build Debian packages. So far there

(for now compiling is simply skipped). That part works fine, however, I
am having a hard time to create a Debian package with ${destdir}'

Hi Flavio - sorry for the delay, everyone was very busy last week with the
Embedded Linux Conference in Barcelona.
You should be able to use the Yocto Project with the older BeagleBoard if
you use the BSPs in the meta-ti layer (

Hello All,
Intel Corporation is pleased to announce version 8.0 ("Danny") board support
packages for Intel embedded platforms. Images with these BSPs can be built with
the "Danny" release of the Yocto Project (i.e. Yocto 1.3).
These BSPs are available for download at the following locations
To chime in: I successfully used kernel and root fs built by plain Yocto,
meta and meta-yocto layers, for C4 and xM Beagleboards. On some C4 with
certain MMC I had the issue that the kernel would not be able to mount the
root fs and just sat there waiting. Unplugging and replugging the MMC
