It probably is specific to what type of lvm you are using.

I’m building a linux image with an initramfs and a secure root file system
using a dmverity hash table. I want to include the dmverity root hash in the
initramfs. When building a yocto image, say core-image-minimal, with an
initramfs, the initramfs is built before the core-image-minimal image
Hi,
I had been running into kernel build failures on the morty branch when using a
shared state. First I'll describe the error, and then my solution.
The first build that initializes the sstate cache works fine. Subsequent clean
builds will fail. The failure
would occur in the do_compile_ker
The writeup in section 4.3.3 of the Yocto reference manual is quite good but
I'm still left with a question that I'm hoping someone can shed some light into.
We have the SSTATE_CACHE set up as a shared directory on a build machine. This
means that multiple developers with their own workspaces w

In order to minimize all variables, I am simply trying to build linux-yocto for

I believe you need to apply a patch that is already in the poky git tree but
might not be in the branch you are on. Try:
git fetch origin
git cherry-pick b6253350fb86d8e54792905342a5892af570d526

I have a ARM 32/64 multilib environment set up in my yocto based project.
Everythings working fine. Almost. I am using the poky krogoth branch with the
patch for "bug 1357" https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1357

When I populate the SDK and install it, I do get
That's the question.
Is there a good example layer somewhere that does this.
Thanks,
