Hi, here is manual, which worked for me to build 0.6.5, maybe it will help. There was many fixes till this manual had been written, so it must be easier to install. Many steps, that fixes sources and yi.cabal are unnecessary now.

Problem building yi on Windows

Hi, I'm trying to build Yi on Windows and have gotten all the pre-requisites installed via cabal but cabal install -f-vtx -fpango is failing, I think due to a problem with cairo. Running with verbosity on 3 reveals the following messages just before the failure. Loading package hint-0.3.3.5 .
