I found on Ubuntu 12.04 using xrandr -output VGA-1 -scale
0.8x0.8, then get the screen info you can found:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1280 x 1024,
maximum 8000 x 8000
VGA-1 connected 1024x820+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
338mm x

I found xrandr panning feature failed in Ubuntu12.04 Ubuntu11.10 but
success in Ubuntu10.04. Someone have already reported the bug in the buglists,
I want to know is it fixed in the xorg trunk? Or xorg will drop panning
feature later, Thanks very much in advance!
