I've seen some evidence of discussions about how to allow authors to hide
content in their documents, but I can't find the discussions themselves.
What would a good approach be for allowing authors to do this? In my case, my
authors are using Docbook 5 and are sourcing

the conversion process, not the steps needed to convert the DITA project into a
