Hmm, actually I'm not very familiar with XeTeX, but at least I can say
that pdf is read by both XeTeX and xdvipdfmx independently.

Thank you for the good suggestion. But pdfinfo can be found both
in poppler and xpdf, and the outputs are different from each
other; thus parsing info file would be difficult.
