Maybe in WiX v4. Not doing those sorts of large changes to non-Burn related
features in WiX v3.6 or v3.7.

manipulations/merges during installation (linq is great for that :) ).
Next step would be to write unit tests for the ca's, but I'm kind of stuck
there ...
The ca's are split in immedeate and deferred parts and incl
