I do something very similar in Wix3, but use a ComponentGroup with the
ComponentRefs as children, and use multiple ComponentGroupRefs under my
Features.

Yes it's supported. Without both sections (e.g., Product and Fragment)
that throw the error when linked, it's hard

Everything is fine in WiX2... in WiX3, when I run the linker, I get
the following error:
