I've added a feature request here: https://sourceforge.net/p/wix/feature-requests/718/ I hope you'll consider it, I think it would be a neat feature! -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/Force-Burn-to-continue-when-package-failed-tp75830

Re: [WiX-users] Bundle Installer size issue

300k seems about right (my Installer is 1.4 MB - downloading all MSIs/EXEPackages). It /does /take awhile for Burn to boot up itself and launch the custom BA though. But like Neil said, a splash screen does the trick. Add it inside the element, and close it when your BA has finished loading up. I

Is this folder empty? C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\Package Cache\ It should be for a clean install (the errors all refer to packages under this location). It looks like you have many SBLInstallers.exe under different GUIDS in there causing the error. Make sure the TEMP fold

It sounds like you have an old installation that wasn't removed properly and need to clean the following place in the registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Installer \ Dependencies You will probably find your packages here - go ahead and delete them. Burn uses this place to store dependencies for upgrade

Thanks for you reply. I'm going to investigate that possibility, but I think it's unlikely we have the same cause of this issue (I don't think this MSI has several features to select from). -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/MSIPackage

I've tested some more and during installation and upgrade I checked the Installer/Dependencies location in the registry. During installation, all packages are correctly put there as dependent to my installer. During upgrade, all packages - except one - are put there as dependent to my installer.
