Just a warning if you are considering putting a Pi online with an existing
weewx system, it might not end well if there is competition for the dataset.
I have a Davis Vantage Pro 2 and I have been using an Ubuntu system to run
weewx 4.2.0 via a Davis ethernet data interface. Reading in the weew

I would guess that the Davis customer support has their scripts which they
must stick to, that's pretty common these days. Sell those subscriptions!

I've used your config for systemd and it solved my problem with the dreaded
ip-read error. Thanks for the tip and tutorial!

I know this is an old thread, but it helped me diagnose why my weewx 4.2.0
web site was repeating the data from a set date and not advancing.
I had brought up an old Raspberry Pi with weewx configured to run at start
up. I forgot that it was running weewx and was merrily configuring it for

I received an email urging me to update my WeatherLinkIP with new firmware:

I run one and just received a notice about a firmware update for the WLIP
from Davis - why do you think they are obsolete? BTW, the update isn't
needed to keep WeeWX happy.
WeeWX 3.9.2 runs off a Linux box and finds and interacts with the link just
fine.

I have weewx working on my Ubuntu 18 box with Apache2. I did a deb install
and sorted through the docs to get it running in intercept mode, using GAS
to send the GW1000U data to this machine via proxy.
I'm stumped how to get the data redirected to the Lacrosse site. I am an
apache2 novice. Lacro
