Anyone know where / how I could upload some basic apps for folks to
tinker with? I have done a few of the tutorials and I am sure others
have as well.
If we had resource "collections" related to goal oriented tutorials
would that help?
Here is a link to a web2py wiki page where I will add some r

Hi Sebastien,
A ton of examples are around, although I know when I was first
checking out web2py it was a bit difficult to "find" them. Web2py
ships with some good ones but it takes some time to figure out which
parts go with which examples.
You can also find some basic examples of functionality
I am in the process of making the interface for the web2py wiki multi-
lingual (French / English). A lot of the ground work is already in
place and I am making some minor tweaks to get mutilingual page
titles, buttons etc. I will be using it on a French only project but
am more than happy to post
Congrats!
It makes me s happy to know that students will have the
opportunity to learn about and work with high quality "current"
technology.
It is so awesome to see a current book in a university book store!
Cheers,
Chris

Thadeus,
The email issue has been on my mind as well. I know I always promise
my self to go mining for those awesome tidbits that get filed under
obscure titles but never seem to come up for air via googling of
various sorts...
A site dedicate to sorting and tagging email automagically might be

Awesome work. It is great to know that we have such a great app and
that it run on GAE.
I was going to suggest meta data, but after thinking it over a bit I
am really like the flexibility, power and simplicity of a straight up
tagging system but that got me thinking...

np, thank you

Database Synchronization and UUID's
I am wondering if I need to do searches by uuid's in a different way.
I have been experimenting with them and frequently run into the error -

Massimo, Thank you for responding so quickly and at 1:00 am on
Saturday morning no less!
I have another question at the end of this email that I would
appreciate feedback on.
Purchased web2py 2nd edition from lulu a couple of weeks ago,
(excellent, thank you for all the hard work!) and will have
I "made some noise" yesterday in both forums.
