Sweet! It works great after commenting out the auth tables and making that minor change to the import action. It had crossed my mind that the auth tables did not have uuid's but I did not realize that you could do without them completely. I will do some more poking around to find the parameters required to define my own auth tables in db.py with uuid's and see how that works.
