i am using v3.3.3r9
i know that it disables the wallpaper on the pc i am connecting to.. and
then enables it again when i disconnect..
the question is.. how do i disable this feature so that the wallpaper
doesn't get turned off at all ?

We have included VNC within all the windows 2000 desktops within the company
as a remote admin tool. As part of the acceptable use policy within the
company the users know what they can and can't do on the company PCs. The
icon is running in the task-b
as i said before it would be a viewing only... so i wouldn't be able to take
control of the PC... just see what was on the screen at the time.
if you didn't know the answer in the first place, why did you bother wasting

yes we thought about that... but apparently there is some health and safety
law that says users must be able to change the background etc...

know where exactly in the registry this should be... as we don't seem to
have an entry called that anywhere in there...
