Thanks for your replies. I ran the 'lokkit'
program to determine what firewall rules, I had set
that would disable remote use of vncviewer. I didn't
find anything.
But that gave me an idea to search for exactly
what the vncserver script was doing. The file in
directory /etc/rc.

I'm trying to use Windows NT with service pack 5 to
view my RedHat Linux v 7.2 desktop. Vncserver is
running on Linux . However, when I try to view it from
an NT machine, which is on the same token ring LAN, (
