I don't even see a way to produce an e with a circumflex. As soon as I
press the key once, two ^^ appear.
Which keymaps do you recomend? I tried all of

Ihave noticed this in SOME Windows applications as well as in Linux. I have
found that the answer seems to be to type a SPACE after the first
diacritical character if that is al
then enter '1234567~[SPACE].DOS'.
