The only question I have then is how to map the uppercase oslash
(Oobliqe I think) to uppercase 'S' (this is the official mapping of
norw. dvorak):

I tried your trick, but it didn't have any effect. Has 127 in "xmodmap
-e 'keycode 127 = s S aring" anything with the key to do, or is it just
an empty keycode. But wait now the questionmark key gives me 'S'.
This could indicate that the answer is yes.

Odd. The current version of kbdptr.c incorporates a different solution to
the problem; it should work correctly, however, as far as I can see.
The patch, in any event, only applied if one uses more than 2 keysyms per
key. A standard U.S. dvorak layout does not, as far as I know (although you

I checked the "default Settings" from Start Menu, there was a different port
set. Changing it to Auto resolved the problem.

ok, I got that working now. Just two questions for understanding: When I
look at the port setting in the registry, it says 6600, shouldn't that be
5800?

clear enough. Though, I've read the FAQ and documentation more than one
time, perhaps it's not written that clearly? I never understood that part
very well

I installed VNC (as a service) on our NT Server (details see subject).
However, if i reboot the machine, I am unable to login. I am not using the
client to login, but a browser. It looks like the service isn4t started
until i log on at the console.
Am i missing something? I searched deja abo
