i think i got it now (partially). i copied the registry settings to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. if i reboot i get the login prompt (phew!). BUT - if i
enter my password and press OK, i get a java exception error and that was
it. i can4t login again until i logon to the server console by hand. i think
there is still something i am missing.
also i have to point out that i4m using port 5901, not 5900.
