Download the free Axel VNC configurator at
http://www.axel.com/usa/tech_axvnc_usa.html#util. It allows to add/remove
VNC terminals. Major O.S. are supported (including Caldera and HP-UX).

Hi
Axel manufactures "only" an hardware VNCviewer. This hardware is 100%
compliant with VNC specifications and can be connected to any VNC servers
(Unix, Linux and Windows). In addition telnet emulations are also available
(ANSI, VT, 5250, 3270...)
In comparison with PCs, the benefits of a such

Visite the Axel Web Site at http://www.axel.com.
A technical documentation is available for the Axel-VNCviewer terminal. This
documentation describes for various O.S. how to get a login on VNC
terminals.

Tristan
I tested the xmodmap command to set an Xvnc French keyboard mapping... And
it doesn't work.
It's like the VNC server is not able to change dynamicaly it's default
keyboard map (i.e. hardcoded keyboard map).
For example, on a French keyboard the row above "AZERTYU..." is different
than
binary, we can
"customize" the internal language.
To summarize, I think the xmodmap method is suitable for changing the
language but I think it's a pity that Xvnc doesn't provide a full PC
keyboard support.
Thank you again for these answers

I hope the AT&T team will be interested and these 2 bugs will be fixed
with the next version (3.3r3). And I hope this version will be available
asap.
Note : I think it couldl be a good idea to display the Xvnc version when the
'Xvnc -h' command is invoked.

This documentation can be downloaded at http://www.axel.fr.
Very soon a Linux package will be available to add and remove vncviewers on
Linux. This package will be posted in the VNC mailing list.

Hello
I sent an email to the VNC mailing list (09/02/2001 - subject: US keymap
table is hardcoded in Xvnc).
I guess your problem is the same that I tried to fix with my patch.

Hello,
I noticed a very strange keyboard behavior with the Xvnc.
I am using a French keyboard. When I press the key 'asterisk' (located at
the left of on a French keyboard), I get an '*'. OK. But if I run
the xev utility to know keyboard events generated by this, I get the
following:
