AFAIK ZA does not watch for keyboard / mouse activity. It looks for internet activity, but from the symptoms, 'activity' means a new connection (every http request is a new connection) and my guess is that VNC starts a single connection, and holds it open. ZA does not see the traffic, just the m

That would be SOL connecting with a web browser. That (with all VNC versions that I know about) will always need 2 ports, and AFAIK, always 100 port numbers apart. Using the stand-alone / OS specific VNC viewer program instead will allow you to get by using a single port, if you can convince all

AFAIK, Win98 SE does not have any built in ICS. It needs a 3rd party package. Something like Internet Sharing from StarTech. Some of the Internet startup packages include the sharing software, and a NIC or 2. What 'package' did you use to setup the Internet / add the second computer? -- Phil -
