After much fuss, I finally got Xvnc -inetd, xinetd, and gdm running together sorta happily on my redhat 7.0 system. The only problem that i have is that sometimes gdm failes to load after i connect to vnc, I have to close out vnc and reconnect. This sometimes takes serveral attempts. Other times,

xinetd & ipv6?

I'm running RedHat 7.0 and xinetd 2.1.8.9pre11, the services appears to be configured correctly, but whenever i try to vnc into the box i get an "invalid protocol" so i assumed it was because xinetd supports ipv6. Did a xinetd -d and sure enough it says Protocol (name,number) = (tcp,6). Go and
