Hi,
I'm compiling the latest edition of VNC Server on the Microsoft Platform SDK
32-bit build environment. I am currently getting a number of errrors that
say "Cannot open include file: 'omniorb2/CORBA.h': No such file or

Check out Tridia's distro of VNC (http://www.tridiavnc.com). It seems to me
that their most recent release incorporates a patch that allows you to
change the behaviour of the AuthHosts "?" from default reject to default

Yes, I have found that getting the right balance between general "speed"
feel and proper updating of windows takes some playing on Win32. I've found
it depends greatly on memory and processor speed of the server side machine,
the colour depth of the server side machine, and the nature of the apps
I uninstalled sp2 as you suggested and it did resolve the problem. Thank

Hard(tm).
The problem is the passwords are stored at the server end, wit
I am having the same problem using W2k Server , I have tried everything I
know to do ,nothing has worked so far... Any body out there have the
solution...

in Windows, and not on WinVNC...
What happens is that Windows is not sending information about which programs
have updated their screens correctly to VNC, so it can't update the client
correctly.

Dear VNC users,
I have set up VNC for use on some UNIX and Windows hosts, and while the X
version of the server works well, the Windows server appears extremely
slow or does not update the screen correctly. I have a sneaking feeling
that this might be a common problem, but the documentation seems
