I was wondering if there is, or if we can start, a master (SOHO)
router list identifying features and problems. Here is what I have in
mind:

If I were to guess, I would say the problem is in the wireless
connection of the router. I've had the exact same problem with
another model of Netgear routers. Everything works fine over the
Ethernet cable connection, but not over the wireless. I bet you the

have yet to find one retail router that can be used with VNC over the
wireless connection. I don't know what they are missing, but it's not
the port forwarding part as I have another device that needs port
forwarding and it wor
