Kuma,
The problem running Firefox is that you are running it as one user, and
trying to display it on a desktop that was started by a different user.
Why are you running "vncserver" with "sudo"?

Buddy,
It sounds like you have a problem running xinitrc. You need to check the
log files for the problem desktops, for errors running X programs.

manager running when you try to start KDE. The best thing to do would be to

Hello, I'm new to vnc and I've searched the FAQ's and other listings to fix
my problem, to no avail. I have vnc v4.1.2 on a Windows 2000 pc.
My problem is, when I change a workspace name, the new name doesn't show up

"Workspaces" are a window-manager provided feature, and nothing to do with

Hi,
I'm having trouble building the server (Xvnc) for RealVNC 4.1.2 on Solaris 10 x86. No problems building for SPARC. I know I've had
issues in the past building for Solaris x86 that I didn't have for SPARC, but I've usually been able to get around them. This time
I'm stumped. I've tried a num
