After investigations in the vnc/Xvnc/Makefile I understood this Makefile
uses the $(CXX) variable. No such variable is set in my Makefile. This
explain why run 'make all' from vnc/Xvnc doesn't work.
What $(CXX) should be refered? Gcc?
Thank you

I believe you'll have to recompile the Java applet. Note, I'm not a
programmer, so I may not know what the heck I'm talking about. :-)

Heya. Similar to UltraVNC's single-click...have you tried
echoWinVNC yet? It's part of our remote-support system built around

The ideas are the same: the end-user starts up a .exe that

Hello,
I am having an issue with VNC viewer connecting to VNC server where I do not
get the mouse pointer. Keystrokes appear to be working ok. Both are version
4.1 and the viewer is running on XP and the server is on 2000 Server.
Any ideas, I have searched the FAQ and mailing list archive

I don't think that's the case. The java applet is only sitting on an HTML
page that I wish to alter. Where can I find it?

If you are talking about the Windoze version of VNC, the HTML file is a
resource that comes with the VNC Server source code. So, to modify the
HTML file, you would then need to rebuild the VNC Server using Visual C++.
If it's *nix, you can modify it locally without rebuilding.

Recently, I sent a copy of VNC 3.3.7 to a friend of
mine.
He tried to install it, but before it was complete,
McAffee's security
software deleted the file and told him that VNC was a
Commercial RAT.
Is there a work-around in McAffee for installing VNC?
I don't understand this, in light of the fact
