You're going to have to forward a port on the NAT firewall/router
to port 5800 on the server, and connect to the NAT machine port.
Without more details from you on your setup, it's difficult to

I have just started getting this problem (hanging and crashing) on 2
different client boxes (one into a Windows 2000 server, one into a Linux
server - from the box running the WIn2k server, as it happens).
For me it has only started to happen since I moved to 3.3.4 but it still
happens with 3.3.5.

And it's only the presence of ZoneAlarm Pro that provokes the problem

Yep, reply to all, since that's what the list now asks for. I'd like you all

Right, the Reply-To status of the mailing list has changed.

We'll try the new arrangement and see how it goes...

I have just learned about VNC and am very impressed with it. I would like

Is there a machine that I can connect to make sure this is working properly?

If you need to connect to a VNC server over the Internet, and you

We have an odd problem with the VNC viewer. We have 3 machines running

Hello,
Without ssh, is it better to
connect from a PC veiwer to
a solaris server over the
internet, or the following:
start the solaris server
with -localhost, telnet into
the sun box and use vncconnect
to make the server connect to

I would have to say good luck, but I'm not quite sure if it will work the
way you expect it to for a screen reader. I have tutored some visually

That should work too, I usually do it as follows because 1/ I dont have full

Hi Eldad,
(I've also sent this to the list since it might be useful for others...)
If you can't forward a port yourself through the NAT (say, because it
belongs to your ISP - that's the situation I'm in with my home
service), then it is still possible to get at it (in a round-about
way...)
