Yes, in some situations RDP can "cohabit" with VNC without any problem. At least, with my test XP Pro which isn't inside a domain: when there's already an RDP session and when I start a VNC session, the RDP session is dropped immediately. It worths notice that FUS isn't used in this test comp

The error you mention is the one I get all the time from machines in which RDP is also used. As for the WinXP machine you mention, they are probably using Fast User Switching, which is the same effect as RDP. VNC does not function in an environment where Fast User Switching or RDP is used, whic
