Yes, in some situations RDP can "cohabit" with VNC without any
problem. At least, with my test XP Pro which isn't inside a domain:
when there's already an RDP session and when I start a VNC session, the
RDP session is dropped immediately. It worths notice that FUS isn't
used in this test comp

The error you're describing is sometimes caused by Remote Desk
FYI, I saw this error when a full-screen text console was in the
foreground on the server.
