Hello,
I see this error in the Event log on servers(win2k or 2003) and PCs
everywhere:
DeviceFrameBuffer: BitBlt failed:5
What does this mean?
Thank you,

Depends on the version of VNC, I think when using the print scrn button. I
notice when we moved from 3.7X to 4.X the regular print scrn did not work
from that machine to my machine. I had to copy the image local to the PC I
am connecting to.

Do you need everyone one to log in at once or just one at a time? If you
need 20 people to access one PC then you should use VMWare for virtual PCs.
The ASUS Pundit barebones are nice PCs and do not cost very much.

The Free version has always been used for Linux personal use. I have been
using it since 3.x. The Enterprise version is a version with some more
features and support. I believe that is the biggest difference.

Did the updates include SP1 for Windows 2003? If so you will have to open up
port 5900. Windows 2003 SP1 has a firewall much like Windows XP. The control
panel would show the firewall if it was there.

I know this is not a preach forum, but not running anti-virus of any form is
very short-sided. Viruses come in all forms today. You can get viruses from
websites (that automatically download things), instant messaging, and email.
You do not have to run Norton. There are many kinds of anti-virus p

It depends on what OS you are planning to install VNC to. There is a
Freeware application that our co-worker used to push out VNC called
FastPush. It is for Windows only (NT, 2000, XP).
Here is the link http://www.darkage.co.uk/downloads/fastpush/
Here is some stuff that he used. I haven't reall
s. We installed VNC 3.3.7 instead. So far so good.

I saw this post but not a solution or a response that says this is a bug. We
are having the problem with VNC 4.0. I have enclosed the email from the
post.
I apologize if this has been answered already. Any help is appreciated.

We have just installed Real VNC 4.0 on Windows. We had been using the old
3.3 version. When you connect to a system with the new version the screen
paints even on the local network. We have changed the colors to low and that
does not change anything.
Is there some setting that I am missing or is
