We use Citrix. We have VNC on every pc and server (including Terminal Server and Citrix). It all works great.
VNC doesn't interfere with any of the applications. There really isn't anything to know or fix that is special. Connection to the workstations are managed through host name or IP address. Every workstation would have to have VNC installed as well. Really there isn't anything special that needs to done.
