I then ask Siri " turn off do not disturb."
Siri says “do-not disturb is already turned off”

That seems to be a new issue. I'm on the 16 Pro and it often does the same
thing.
Sunday, I think it was, it worked correctly. But, it is quite confusing.

I've noticed this too. Siri will turn whatever focus you ask for on or off, but
adds the word "already" to the confirmation that it has done what I asked.

I have never tried to create eMail with a shortcut. I would suspect that you
could add variables to specific areas, but I am not sure.
It might even be that you don’t need variables if the web page activity is
immediately before the send eMail activity.

My last two attempts at making a screen recording have failed. I am told the
video is present, but there is no audio to be found. I have previously recorded
screen recordings successfully on this device, my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I do not
know how this behavior relates to the upgrade to iOS 18.

I had not really looked into what Files would show you on your iPhone.
I am not sure it does what she was asking for.
It doesn’t tell you where the app is on your phone.
I checked the Info on an app that I know exactly where it is, but it did not
tell me it was in a folder called MS Apps
Files is more basic than I was hoping for. I was hoping for something that
would go deeper and not keep so many secrets. Maybe that’s not possible, but I
can hope.

I believe the Files app does provide all the information requested by the original poster as Anna answered. You need to place focus on the file of interest within the Files app, single finger triple tap on the screen to open the context menu, swipe to the Get info option, and single finger double t

Once you are as far back as you can go, make sure the Browse tab is selected at
the bottom of the page.
Then, you should find an iPhone button to browse your phone more completely.

When I followed your instructions, which is essentially what I had done before
on an app that I know is in a folder I called Utilities, it never tells me in
fact it is in a folder called Utilities.
It will tell me all about the app; but not where it is located exactly, other
than on my iPhone.
