Just out of curiosity, I actually did call Apple, and they said they only
offered the one tier of AppleCare now. I asked again just to be sure, asking if
they no longer offered the coverage without theft and loss, and the sales
person started explaining all of the advantages of the AppleCare now
Yes, apple Care used to be around $79 and less depending on the device.
I don't know that they offer it without the theft piece, they used to.
Maybe that is why it is higher, I don't know.
