Sqwebmail uses directories to store the translations

/usr/local/share/sqwebmail/html/es (spanish, i think)

That is in vdelivermail.c
I would check the values in the vpw structure (print them out).
Probably vpw->pw_dir is neither NULL nor an empty string,
so it doesn't create the maildir. This might be due to
processing empty fields in the cdb module.

I don't remember exactly, but there is a function in mysql SQL
that allows you to create a unix compatible MD5 password
from the clear text.
>From mysql documentation:
ENCRYPT(str[,salt])
Encrypt str using the Unix crypt() system call. The salt argument should be a
string with two characters.
can easily check
by adding email accounts and forwards. If they work and
the permissions on the files are right, you are set.
Ken Jones
You can start by looking at your http logs.
Sometimes when this happens to me it's because
the sqwebmail binary does not have setuid permissions.
That would cause all logins to fail.
Ken Jones

it on one machine and then install the compiled binaries on another
machine that has a different uid/gid for vpopmail/vchkpw.
The other alternative is to have the vpopmail library look up the

vpopmail lib. For efficency, that lookup is done once at compile time.
Ken Jones
preciated.
You need to add the directory where the zlib libraries are to
the ld configuration file. Probably /usr/local/lib but sometimes
sun pkg's put things under /opt. I can't remember which Sun
file it is. The corresponding file under linux is /etc/ld.so.conf
Ken Jones
You can also run the smtp server as root if any of your domains
are not owned by vpopmail.

If the code is still the same, there are two functions, one
to verify the characters in the user name and another to verify

SQL engines are much better at transactions than ldap servers,

I'd like to be able to disable shared libraries.
I like not having run time linking each time vchkpw and vdelivermail

efficent. The only thing it would save me is recompiling vpopmail dependent
libraries on an update, and that's not a big deal for me.
Ken Jones
ased on the freebsd patch but uses the X-Spam-Flag: YES
header instead of the X-Spam-Level: header, since different
users could have different spam level settings.
Ken Jones
spamassassin/local.cf and can be overriden by
a users .spamassassin/users_pref file. So there is no
need for an --enable-spam-threshold option. Spamassassin
adds a header X-Spam-Flag: YES if the email goes over
the required_hit count.
I'm going to try and add the code to the cvs version over the
weekend.
Ken Jones
seekable means vdelivermail can rewind
the file descriptor to start at the begining of the email.
This is needed when handing the email to programs
inside of .qmail files, or for getting the size of the
email or for delivery to multiple addresses. That kind
of thing.
