Once you get the CPU back to normal, could you test to see if the latest vpopmail devel release causes the same problem? I had changed the signal code in vpopmail to hopefully work with supervised systems. I don't have supervise running on any of my test machines, so I can't test it.

I'd rather link once at compile time. Makes it just-a-bit-more efficent. The only thing it would save me is recompiling vpopmail dependent libraries on an update, and that's not a big deal for me. spamassassin/local.cf and can be overriden by a users .spamassassin/users_pref file. So there is no need for an --enable-spam-threshold option. Spamassassin adds a header X-Spam-Flag: YES if the email goes over the required_hit count. I'm going to try and add the code to the cvs version over the weekend. Ken Jones

seekable means vdelivermail can rewind the file descriptor to start at the begining of the email. This is needed when handing the email to programs inside of .qmail files, or for getting the size of the email or for delivery to multiple addresses. That kind of thing. Ken Jones
