Looks like the vmysql.h file (and no documentation on it)
are making things confusing.
Put your mysql information in the UPDATE server line and
ignore the READ server. The read server is only used with
mysql replication.

Can you use the command line mysql as a non root user?
I have seen versions of mysql that won't let non root
users run the command line mysql. It was a permission
restriction on the /var/lib/mysql directory. Non root
users couldn't open the unix socket file in that directory.

will see that it does a lookup of all the email addresses
on your system and forwards a copy to a computer hosted on
a ship in international waters via a statilite connection,
or was it to the NSA, I forget. :)

What happens is vdelivermail is started, and qmail-local
connects vdelivermail's standard input to an open file
descriptor to the email message. So that's what vdelivermail

The other way to do this on RedHat is to remove the
mysql installation
rpm -qa | grep SQL
rpm -e
Then download the latest mysql rpms from www.mysql.com
Then install them.
The latest rpms from mysql.com do not have the problem

This is because of restrictive permissions to the
mysql.sock file used to connect to the database.
Easiest solution.
rpm erase the current mysql packages. Download the
lastest stable mysql rpm's and install them.
Should work fine.

re-written, so making a patch would be futile.

to standard out. Then pipe standard out into multilog.
When vchkpw prints to standard out it ends up being sent
to the pop client.
So how do we get vchkpw connected to multilog?

Place them in tcp.smtp file. Follow the standard tcp.smtp file
format.

vipmap -a 1.2.3.4 test.com maps the ip address 1.2.3.4 to test.com
vipmap -d 1.2.3.4 test.com will delete the mapping.
