Hello Winan,
I use "maildrop" package for resolve this problem. you need compile maildrop with:
# ./configure --enable-maildirquota ...(other options)...
This make /usr/local/bin/deliverquota, and this problem is used in .qmail file
of user, to update maildirsize. Sample:

Ken & Bill,
Here's a patch that's small but has a *big* performance
change in it. This patches the 5.3.15 distribution.
Over the last few months, I've been seeing my mailserver
incur 90-99% CPU utilization during peak loads. During
that time, I was seeing between 5 & 10 authentications
per sec

There's pgsql auth code available? Whereat? I thought pgsql on vpopmail was
tried once and abandoned. At the beginning of the year I revisited it and
Bill asked
The file I updated was vpgsql.c and voracle.pc
These need the extra work done to ensure that it only
returns 1 if a new IP was added to the table and not
just replaced.

Ken, all:
I've added Brian Kolaci's vopen_smtp_relay patch to 5.3.16. You can
get it from http://shupp.org.

What do I need to do in order to send the failure notices to the postmaster of the
domain that the message is failing on. Right now all failures go to the default
domain.
I want the failures for say virtualdomain1.com (ie: user is over quota) to go to the
postmaster of
virtualdomain1.com instead
Hi guys I have a question if you do not mind my asking guys. I have
installed qmailadmin vanilla and it get errors permission errors when I try
to create a user. So I have installed the 1.0.6 and then upgrade to 1.09 and
works fine however, I cannot get the field for quota to show. Do you have

Is this not the list to ask development questions on?

Hello,
I have a strange situation. As of sometime recent, for only one domain,
vadduser is blowing up, dropping core. This is with qmail 1.03 and vpopmail
5.2. I can add users with other domains, and everything seems to be setup
correctly for this domain. Recreating this domain from scratch is
Sounds like bad syntax somewhere on your system. vpopmail has a few
places
where it doesnt handle these things nicely.
Try upgrading to the latest development version. The latest versions
always handle bad syntaxes better.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "bad syntax" but I do know that the
assign file and the database all seem to have consistent entries between the
problem domain and working domains. I have yet to find any deviation from
the norm.
Upgrading to a development version really is not an option at
I have hundreds of email account that have to be maintain, their mailbox
quota is 3 MB each, my question is: is it possible for me to get the report
or something that will inform me what mailboxes are having quota exceed
..many thanks in advance

Winan
U don't need that if you set the quota limit. Just try:
vsetuserquota yourdomain.com 3MB
In this case all existant accounts will be limited to 3MB. However any
accounts exceeding 3MB's will continue in that situation until the user
retrives the messages.

I already implemented Selective relaying with tcpserver and qmail-smtpd ..
but why my qmail server's still blamed as open relay .. I tested my qmail by
using the following link http://members.iinet.net.au/~remmie/relay/index.cgi
I did below procedures to deny relay:
vi /home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp
