'configure' script inside vpopmail-5.0 doesn't properly
work with --enable-qmaildir=/not/var/qmail :
Instead of searching necessary qmail-binaries under specified
/not/var/qmail/bin 'configure' script tries to seek inside
default /var/qmail
Attached patch modifies configure.in to correc

have noticed that everytime i try to send email, i see the ip on the
open-smtp file, but it still does not work, now what is the open-smtp file?
and how does it relate to the tcp.smtp? I just have not been able to relay,

I dicovered today that when sending mail to one of
my domains it now says no mailbox, but the domain is there and the entires are
in mysql. Running vpomail 5 with qmail.
Anyone seen this.

sorry for some reason three domains ended up in the
locals file jsut had to remove them and restart qmail. so far so
good

4.4-RELEASE server. It works great with virtual domains, but when I
want to check mail for local user it just crashing.
here is log from /var/log/messages:

so if thats how it goes, it seams the mechanics of the setup are some what
right, because when i check the email from a dial-up connection, i see the
ip on the open-smtp file, but yet, it will not let me relay?
as soon as i log in from the dial up my opent-smtp file shows that ip w

i looked at the timestamp and although the open-smtp does update everytime i
check mail, the tcp.smtp and the tcp.smtp.cdb do not...
all 3 files open-smtp, tcp.smtp, and tcp.smtp.cdb are owned by usur root
group root...

set-up the .qmail-john file to send mail to another user
and also to john.
With Qmail you just had the ./Maildir/ directive which
worked well but with the Virtual domains and so on I have
not managed to make it work.
