Hello.

I am having strage problems with Vpopmail 5.0 to which I upgraded some
days ago. I am using MySQL for Authenticantion which worked well all the
time. But now I am getting errors sometimes.

I am using 3 POP3-Emailaccounts and my Emailclient (KMail or Netscape
Messenger, both under Unix or just for testing Outlook under Winslow)
always fetches mail from two POP Accounts at a time. But when it starts
athorization at the third Account I get the error:

The PASS command did not succeed (thats what Messenger and Kmail say,
Outlook just says that the password was wrong..... that should be enough
for Win Users ;-) ).

The error description is:
les: fatal: unable to move /home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp° to
/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb: file does not exist.

But sometimes the error description differs because then it tells me
that he can't MOVE the file.

Here are the file permissions:

-rw-r--r-- 1 vpopmail vchkpw 42 Oct 25 03:55 tcp.smtp
-rw-r--r-- 1 vpopmail vchkpw 2952 Oct 25 04:00 tcp.smtp.cdb

Here is my tcp.smtp:

000.000.000.000:allow,RELAYCLIENT=""
:allow

(with 000.000.000.000 being the ipadress of the server)

Here is how I configured vpopmail 5.0:

# ./configure --enable-passwd=n --enable-roaming-users=y
--enable-mysql=y --enable-tcpserver-file=/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp
--enable-log-name=vpopmail --enable-logging=p --enable-auth-logging=y

this is exactly the same config which I used for 4.x and which worked
FINE. I just upgraded because of the improved Qmailadmin.

But here is the next question or problem. When adding a POP Box in a
domain, then I can't select this POP Account in order to create an alias
for him. The Select Box is always empty.

I hope someone can help me with my problems.
