Hi,
I've red the install document and followed the instruction. It's in number 12, right?
And then I tried to ftp my.virtual.domain.com from another machine. When it asked for
username I entered [EMAIL PROTECTED], and for the password I entered the
mail password.
It's said user login failed.
Hi,
I am having problems with vpopmail logging. Nothing seems to get logged to
the syslog.
I configured vpopmail-4.9.10 with the following
--enable-auth-logging=y --enable-log-name=vpopmail --enable-logging=y
I use mysql for authentication so I thought I would try
--enable-auth-logging=y.

Hi,
I'm using vpopmail and Krzysztof's vpopmail patch since it was born. Each
new realease of vpopmail have a lot of changes, and dbfunction's patch
must by changed each time, as we all know. I think it would be great to
include this patch into vpopmail package, as non standard configure
option.
Has anyone been able to compile the vpopmail-4.10.1 "Thu May 10 19:09:28 CDT
2001" version with mysql support?

Hi,
I have some problems during compilation of vpopmail-4.10.1.
./configure --enable-qmaildir=/mail/qmail --enable-logging=p
--enable-default-domain=domain.pl --enable-mysql=y
--enable-sqlincdir=/mysql/include/mysql
--enable-sqllibdir=/mysql/lib/mysql --enable-tcprules-prog
--enable-hardquota=1
I'm migrating to MySQL from cdb and I'm just curious if anyone has some
good numbers on when it makes sense to use the large v. small site
setup?

I couldn't help but notice that after running 'vconvert -c -s' on a
domain, it converts all the accounts but doesn't seem to have saved the
.dir-control contents. Is that expected?

Okay, everyone has had their say in the dbfunctions bit, so I amy aswell add
mine.
For me, the dbfunctions is an essential part of vpopmail and
Hi Ken (et al),
I've found another place where the multiple UID/GID feature isn't quite
completely implemented. I've built another mail toaster with
qmail/vpopmail/qmailadmin and each domain is a unique UID/GID. The main
difference is that I am using MySQL authentication on this one. I've got the
