Hi,

I am having problems with vpopmail logging. Nothing seems to get logged to
the syslog.

I configured vpopmail-4.9.10 with the following
--enable-auth-logging=y --enable-log-name=vpopmail --enable-logging=y

I use mysql for authentication so I thought I would try
--enable-auth-logging=y.
Would this conflict with the syslog logging?
I can see a pop3 connection in the syslog (from iplog)

May 15 10:29:46 xenon iplog[339]: TCP: pop3 connection attempt from
usr6974-kno.cableinet.co.uk:2153

But thats all. Nothing from vpopmail. I am expecting it to tell me the user
or domain, am I right?

>From the ./configure...
--enable-auth-logging=y|n
--enable-log-name=vpopmail
--enable-logging=e|y|n|p|v Turn on (y) or off (n) logging to syslog, (e)
only log errors, include passwords in errors (p

Who knows what --enable-logging=v does? verbose?

Is there not a way I can pass the logging off to multilog and log to a
seperate file? I've seen a bit of talk about this, but no real, working
soluctions.

Any ideas?
