Hi all,
has anyone got 0.36b to compile WITH the SSL options?
I've got openssl on my system and it works fine for everything else,
but Courier doesn't seem to find it or use it. It's installed in

During the ./configure process, I see this:

I didn't know he was writing mail filters. We should probably
keep vpopmail compatible with his filter rules.

I think that's THE most frequently asked question about
autorespond code. Sounds like we should make a new release
that removes the headers.
The other is that it should not m

I think I would need to configure vpopmail without --enable-roaming... and
then do something to tcp.smtp t

Is he using software that will let him use the "@" sign?

This won't work with Netscape (for example, which requires the % instead of
@), but works with others (like Outlook Express).

Hi,
reading the manual tells me that each new virtualdomain sets a password for
the postmaster with this account you can login and add popaccounts, mailing
lists, etc. You'd have to install qmailadmin of course :-)

But I now have a little question:
Email gets sent to a Maildir if the user has been setup and the rest gets returned.
How can I direct email to a default Maildir for that domains other mail to be catched ?

Help!
Can anyone forward a sample startup file for the following config:
qmail
vpop -roaming enabled
tcpserver
I've configured vpopmail with "./configure --enable-roaming-users=y",
made a /~vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp file with some rules and restarted qmail
with the following:

hi,
here we go, this is the first public release of autorespond patched (no,
partialy rewritten) by me.
attention:
- it's VERY development level code, try it and report problems, please
- there are two new commandline options making it incompatible to 1.0.0
- read the first few lines of source
Right. Here's some details:
1. OS: RH Linux 6.1
2. Relaying from another host (listed as allow in
/hoem/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp) does NOT work.
3. Normal pop functions are working just fine. Mail is delivered to the
domains properly, and users can log in and pickup mail just fine.
4. Not getti
Greetings,
I have written a perl module 'vpopmail.pm'.
this module makes available some of the functionality
of the C library libvpopmail.a.
I hope you find this useful.
I have uploaded it to the CPAN:

questions or comments are welcome.
Thanks
I could post my complete setup to my page, I suppose, if you think a full
example would help.
I'm using an /etc/rc.d/init.d/qmail script to start and stop services using
"svc" and staring supervise from rc.sysinit. My supervise "run" scripts
start each service independantly as recommended on two
I use the following to start Qmail's pop3 daemon:
#!/bin/sh
env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:/usr/local/bin" \
tcpserver -H -R -uvpopmail_uid -gvpopmail_gid 0 pop3 \
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup your.fqdn.here \
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir 2>&1 | \
/var/qmail/bin/splogge
Hi!
thanks for the reply.
Will try your new autorespond.c right away.
Now just have to find a way to pass those command-line parameters from
sqwebmail to your autorespond...
cheers!

Typo correction, sorry:
| /home/vpopmail/bin/bin/vdelivermail /home/vpopmail/domains/DOMAIN/DEFAULT/
And it should be all in one line
